A Hapworth 16: Salinger Epitaphs

January 30, 2010

Boo Boo, lest I forget, Buddy
asked me to make
sound, Bessie; my God,
what a young camper, reflect!

Jane Austen, in the absence of
the evening, we
are all young, very
overweight, who is shining.

The complete works
and all, a fellow monk to
do with the noble
Hindus a windfall.

In convenient
amounts, please send anything
on the matter, I
am working on earth!

J. D. Salinger, Hapworth 16, 1924

This are fantastic, especially the first and fourth. Boo Boo, Buddy and Bessie are great together.
