Presenting: Gnoetry Daily Volume 1

November 15, 2011

Rejoice, o earth and sky, as we birth our quality issue:

GNOETRY DAILY, VOLUME 1

See:

  • N-gram generations (word-based and character-based) * Diastic readings * Cut-ups * n+7s * template generations * codework transformations
  • metaphysical speculation, startling juxtapositions, profane ranting, unpopular political perspectives, and moments of great (though possibly incomprehensible) beauty
  • our favorite poems from the past several years of the group blog Gnoetry Daily
  • creative Foreword by C.T. Funkhouser (of “Prehistoric Digital Poetry” fame)

Get the pdf file and send it to your friends! Send it to your acquaintances! Tweet it, Facebook it, GooglePlus it, save it somewhere to be found years from now by people who will really care!

I’ve said it already, but I’ll say it again anyways. I’m so happy this all came together and turned out so well. And thanks for doing so much work on this, edde.

Oh, and I’ve had the idea to convert this PDF so that it can be read more easily on a Kindle. It might be a pain in the ass, but what do you think of me making a MOBI or EPUB of this?

Some of poems may need to be converted into images to appear properly on a Kindle e-ink display correctly, but I think the rest of it might convert over without too much difficulty.

All right with me, though I got no idea how to do it. If you need the original .odt (or a .doc) let me know.

    wait. can i switch poems?

Maybe you can add a “bonus track” on the Kindle version? Ask eRoGK7. Why not save it for Gnoetry Daily: Volume 2? :)
