A leaf, the shadows.
Beckett devouring the
swarms of publishers.

What is life today?
Some are so young, they begin
to know them themselves.

$ $ $

What is life today?
One day and night, absorbing,
viewing, translating.

$ $ $

Give me a copy.
Give me the right voice, out of
print after one read.

$ $ $

Give me a moment
to dwell a while between things
ending and observe.
