Leviticus, FINISHED

March 29, 2012
by

I just breezed(!) through the second half of Leviticus and actually turned out some poems I like quite a bit. Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

Leviticus chapter eighteen:

i. charNG

her
    nakedness:
I am Yahweh.
   "None of the nakedness.
     Your neighbor’s wife’s daughter
of
yours
     is detestable."

ii. eDiastic

nations practiced nakedness
customs practiced yourself
with vomit

live lives vomited
carnally native
kinswoman

Leviticus chapter nineteen:

i. charNG

shall be to make
      molten gods
for and not
of two kinds. come stumbling
to full.

ii. eDiastic

life lives giving fruit :
come, reap people
not judgment

Leviticus chapter twenty two:

i. charNG

   of you
not eaten of Israel
they make anythings,
 the
holy things, which
you
may eat of.

the name
is a
leper of all youth.

ii. eDiastic

have their guilt
creeping
crushed
ewe brings ewe
whoever : whoever

Leviticus chapter twenty four:

i. charNG

animal
morning
  out among
     the burn, continually, is good
as
     well as well
as
well
as
Yahweh

ii. eDiastic

covenant strikes fracture
light strikes offerings
fracture strikes fracture
surely from gold

Leviticus chapter twenty five:

i. charNG

according
to
his poor, you shall not wrong
one over
him who lives as
  they may
   live.
your field of Jubilee:
  surplus to you
  surplus to his children
of the number of his generation.

If you, to get
it
   shall live among
them,
proclaim His liberty.

ii. eDiastic

living lives of Jubilee
children shall support brothers :
give him seven
give him safety

Leviticus chapter twenty seven:

i. charNG

    it
  is poorer of
the change.
These are the tithe: change it.
when both it shall be
be
part of is.

ii. eDiastic

land gives dictates : devoted offering dedicates
the twenty firstborn
shall redeem
shall belong

As always, the generators for the poems for with[in] the Bible are (obviously) eddeaddad‘s charNG and eDiastic, and the source texts are chapters from the World English Bible.
